Are you ready to become part of the Monarch region’s wealth?
We thank our partners for all their support
It is an alternative project with social responsibility and environmental, social, and economic impact that has measurable and verifiable results and indicators. It is a proposal by Alternare A,C., an organization with more than 23 years uninterrupted work for the conservation of the Monarch region, whose comprehensive sustainable development model, has been internationally acknowledged for its important contributions to reduce poverty and regenerate ecosystems.
Our team will support you to adapt a strategy that contributes to your company’s objectives and is aligned to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development goals drafted in the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations.
By re-planting and managing our forests sustainably, we create new spaces where plants and animals can grow and develop. We encourage economic activity that creates jobs and allows for a better life. We generate a real impact in the face of climate change. We improve the quality of the air we breathe, the food we eat and the water we drink. It is part of BosqueSomos and together we can create a healthy environment for our children to grow up by restoring our forests and creating a better world. Participate in building a sustainable future!
You can adopt a mature forest in the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve’s core zone or plant a forest in the buffer zone. We will issue a certificate with your logo and welcome letter that will reach each of your collaborators through an email in which they will know the name assigned to the forest, species of reforested trees, age, community in which it will be planted georeferenced (latitude, longitude, and exact location in gmaps);
We will work with the Carpinteros indigenous community to plant and/or maintain your company’s forest for 2 years. Every six months we will take photos and send them to you via email so that you and your collaborators can monitor and track tree growth in your forest.
At the end of the two years, we will invite you to renew and develop a strategy for the restoration of another area of the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve. There are more than 52,000 hectares which must be regenerated and conserved, the goal is very large, but we know that with your support we can achieve it.
If you chose to plant a forest, the activities will focus on training, support and purchase of the materials required for the reforestation process, from land selection, tree production, to monitoring for two years to ensure the survival of the planted trees. If you decided to contribute through the adoption of a mature forest, we will provide maintenance and perform the necessary activities to preserve the core zone to make sure the monarch butterfly is received with healthy forests in excellent during their overwintering season.
Yes, all contributions are tax deductible.
Thank you caring for the forests and for the conservation of the monarch butterfly’s migratory phenomenon led by the communities! To help us reach our goal, click here. Would you rather participate in the reforestation of the Monarch region?
Our goal is for Carpinteros indigenous community to be able to maintain and plant more than 300 hectares of forest in the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve. It’s a huge number, but we know we can do it with your help!
